During the 5 days international meeting, to be held in Turin (Italy) between the 19 and 23 September 2005, scientists and technical experts from all over the World, will present the results of the latest cademic and applied research on key topics related to natural risks evaluation and related hazards.

The aim of this meeting is to achieve a better understanding of natural risks and to highlight how education, legislation and communication can contribute to mitigate their often catastrophic impact on societies of developed and developing countries throughout the World.
