NUOVA VERSIONE BETA DI DS E' arrivato questo avviso agli utenti registrati, credo convenga terminare il 1° esempio con DS 5 e poi passare alla v6.0 The DEEPSOIL development team is proud to announce the public beta release of DEEPSOIL 6.0 for testing. Version 6 is a complete rewrite of the computational code for all analyses. The interface has also received numerous usability enhancements and introduces a new analysis workflow. Please login here and download the updated installer. This is pre-release software and should be used for testing and evaluation purposes only. Version 5.1 remains available as the current stable release. The main updates in version 6 include: • Completely rewritten computational core that is approximately 1 order of magnitude faster than pervious DEEPSOIL releases (computational time reduced by a factor of 10 or more). • Significant updates to many of the analysis windows. • The number of concurrent analyses in batch mode is no longer limited to 4 if the hardware supports additional threads (see Options menu to set the maximum). • Users can now conduct single-element tests to model hysteretic behavior along a user-defined strain path. • Added the option to run an equivalent linear analysis when running a nonlinear analysis without requiring any change to an existing nonlinear profile. • The deconvolution routine has been rewritten and is available as part of frequency domain linear and equivalent linear analyses. • Added the ability to conduct timestep reductions of input motions using zero-padding in the frequency domain. • Added the option to use zero-padded frequency domain interpolation for calculation of acceleration increments during time domain analyses (new default behavior). • Completely rewritten motion processor and baseline correction routines. • Completely rewritten input motion converter to allow for conversion of non-PEER motion files to DEEPSOIL format. • Added support for the Roblee and Chiou (2004) dynamic properties curves as reference curves in the “Dynamic Properties” window. • Added the ability to view results from batch analyses. © 2002-2015 Board of Trustees of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Youssef Hashash
